Users will increase the visual clarity of their templates as well as distinguish different luminaires by taking advantage of PTB's luminaire symbol library. PTB provides many generic symbol representations that correspond to particular types of photometric files. The symbols are symbolic representations of the luminaire and are shown in Plan view. The symbol represents the luminaires when printing or exporting the job file as a DXF.
PTB searches for all symbols with the extension .SYM (Model and Render Mode symbols from AGi32) and .NSM (Model Mode symbols from AGi32) when opening the Symbols dialog.
Select
a symbol by clicking on the desired thumbnail image. The symbol will appear,
enlarged, in the Selected Symbol box. If desired, assign a different color
to the symbol. Click Ok to accept the selection.
